Make a shopping list by voice and share it

Updated 28 October 2026. By Workbench Soft.
Say "Hey Keep, buy milk and bread" and Keeppad files the note under Shopping. Share that note by link, and the other person sees each item you add, live.

Add items as you think of them

The best time to add an item is the moment you run out. Your hands are often busy then.
1. Turn on Hey Keep in Keeppad on Android. Hands-free notes on Android shows how.
2. Say "Hey Keep" and wait for "Recording".
3. Say the items: "buy coffee, eggs and shampoo".
4. Stop talking. The note lands in Shopping.
On iPhone, tap the microphone in Keeppad and say the same. iOS doesn't let apps listen for a phrase in the background.

How Keeppad knows it is shopping

•
Words first "buy", "shop", "supermarket" and common items such as milk, bread, eggs or coffee point to Shopping. The same note lands in the same group each time.
•
The phone's model next on phones with Gemini Nano, Keeppad asks it for a group while the app is open. It runs on the phone.
•
You last pick another group on the note, and it stays.

Share the list

1. Open the Shopping note and tap Share.
2. Send the link in any messenger.
3. The other person opens it in Keeppad or in a browser. No account, no sign in.
4. Either of you edits the note, and the other sees the change.
Anyone with the link can open the note, so send it only to the people who shop with you. The privacy policy says where a shared note is stored.

Tips for a cleaner list

•
One note per trip say the items in one go, then share that note.
•
Say "and" between items speech to text writes a list better with clear breaks.
•
Send it on to Todoist from Keeppad's settings, if your household lives there.
