Share a note by link and edit it together

Updated 28 October 2026. By Workbench Soft.
In Keeppad, tap Share on a note and send the link. The other person opens it in the app or any browser, and you both edit the same note, live, with no account.

Share a note

1. Open the note in Keeppad.
2. Tap Share. On a phone the share sheet opens with the link. In a browser Keeppad copies the link.
3. Send the link in any messenger or email.
The note now shows as Shared in your list.

Open a shared note

•
With Keeppad on Android the link opens the note in the app.
•
Without the app the link opens the note in the browser.
•
No sign in the link is the key, so there is no account to make.

Edit together

•
Live a change on one side shows on the other side in seconds.
•
Text and group both travel with the note. The recording stays on the phone that made it.
•
Delete removes the note from your list. The people you shared it with keep their copy.

Who can see it

Anyone who has the link can open and edit the note. Treat the link like a key to that note.
•
Send it to the right people a family chat, not a public group.
•
Keep secrets out a password or a card number doesn't belong in a shared note.
•
Ask for removal to have a shared note deleted from Firebase, email its link to the address on the Contact page.

Where the shared note is stored

Shared notes sit in Google's Cloud Firestore, in the Sydney region. Google lists its Firestore locations. The privacy policy has the details.
